Goals and Objectives
As a designer, it is important to understand the effects that our designs have on society and the environment. An important tool for analyzing the effects we have on the world is data science. As a young scholar at DSPG, I aim to improve my GIS skills and gain new analytic tools. I don’t have much experience with data science, but I am excited to learn more.
Objectives for the Summer
- Improve at GIS
- Learn more about statistics
- Learn how to program (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
- Learn how to apply data science as a Landscape Architect
- Gain real-world experience
